Widener Commonwealth Law Review Symposium: Search, Seizure and Smartphones: A View of the Fourth Amendment Through Today's Lens

Please join us for the annual Widener Commonwealth Law Review Symposium. This year’s event will include Dauphin County District Attorney, Francis Chardo, speaking on the effect of technology on search warrants.

Other speakers will focus on the evolution of search and seizure law in Pennsylvania, such as Cumberland County Assistant Public Defender Joshua Yohe speaking on the effects of Commonwealth v. Wilmer and Franklin County criminal defense attorney Jerrold Sulcove discussing Birchfield v. North Dakota. With an introduction by U.S. Magistrate Judge Martin Carlson and lectures provided by various experienced practitioners, you won’t want to miss this event.

Registration for the event will begin at 8:15 a.m. The program will start at 8:45 a.m. Lunch will be provided.
