In 2016, Widener Law Commonwealth was selected as one of the top law schools for public service. Since its founding, Widener Law Commonwealth has fostered and celebrated contributions to government law. This award continues and enhances that tradition by highlighting the impact of our alumni on the public sector. Nominees must be graduates of Widener Law Commonwealth's graduating classes of 2019 or earlier. A committee consisting of the law school dean, the director of the Law and Government Institute, and a member of the law school’s Board of Advisors will select the winner.
While nominees must be alumni of Widener Law Commonwealth, anyone may nominate one of our graduates. The selection criteria focuses on the nature and impact of the nominee’s contributions to public service.
Nominations for 2024 will be accepted until September 15, 2024.
