Your gift to this important fund provides provide resources for new initiatives at the law school including our new AI and the Law programming and our new Center for Equity & Justice.
Gifts to this fund provide summer scholarships to graduated law students who are studying for the bar exam in June and July. This will be a perpetuating education fund as graduates who take advantage of the Raising the Bar scholarship will pay back into the fund once the bar exam is successfully passed and gainful employment is underway.
Scholarships help support students with tuition costs. In today’s fragile economic climate, student scholarships are more important than ever. You may contribute to an existing scholarship or endow a new one—focusing on your particular interests or honoring someone special in your life.
Making Commonwealth Law part of your estate plan benefits the law school and, depending on your choices, may also carry significant benefits for you and your heirs, including reliable income and tax considerations. We are happy to help you to create a customized planned giving package that accomplishes your specific intent.
We are especially grateful for our students who choose to make a gift while still attending law school. These gifts help support the annual fund as well as educate future alumni about the importance of giving back to their alma mater.
Give a gift that lasts a lifetime—and well beyond. Honor a loved one or commemorate a special event such as a graduation, anniversary, or achievement with an engraved, personalized paver permanently displayed in the heart of campus.
