Widener Law Commonwealth is committed to providing veterans and active military personnel with expert and expedited assistance in the law school admissions process.
Veterans Expedited Enrollment Program (VEE Program)
To facilitate enrollment, Widener Law Commonwealth is pleased to offer the following as part of its Veterans Expedited Enrollment Program (VEE Program).
- Expedited review of your admissions application
- Expert assistance with completing and filing forms and paperwork related to veterans educational benefits such as the G.I. bill and the Yellow Ribbon program
- Specific scholarships dedicated to veterans and military service members
- Faculty and staff mentors with respect to course selection and career guidance
- Alumni mentors that have served or are serving in the armed forces
- Outreach from members of Widener’s Spirit of Service student organization
Email the admissions office at admitcwlaw@widener.edu to indicate your intention to apply to Widener Law Commonwealth via the VEE Program.
In the event that a veteran does not meet the law school’s ordinary admissions requirements, the law school will invite the candidate to participate in the summer Trial Admissions Program (TAP), providing the applicant with the opportunity to earn admission to the law school.
*Please note all TAP applicants must meet character and fitness requirements
