Student Employment

The Federal Work-Study Program (FWSP) funds the part-time work on-campus or off-campus of students with financial need. Student off-campus employers must be private nonprofit organizations or public agencies. Students may work up to 20 hours per week during regular school periods and up to 40 hours per week during designated breaks. Please note that the amount of money earned cannot exceed the total amount of the student’s total award as part of the Federal Work-Study Program. Contact the Financial Aid Office with questions.

The Financial Aid Office handles all student employment paperwork for both work-study and non-work-study positions. See the Financial Aid Office Campus Cruiser page for necessary forms and work-study downloads.

Campus Cruiser is closing their doors as of December 31, 2018, but the portal may be available until March 15, 2019. Widener University ITS is actively working on options to house Campus Cruiser information so users outside the Widener community will be able to view the content.  In the interim, if you notice a link to Campus Cruiser or a link on Campus Cruiser is not working, please contact [email protected] with detailed information about the document or page you’re trying to access.  Thank you for your patience during this unexpected transition period.
