Matt Krupp knew a good opportunity when he saw it to begin his legal career.
During his time at Shippensburg University and working in state government in Harrisburg, PA, he learned about Widener Law Commonwealth’s great reputation for preparing future attorneys and policy makers. When he learned of its reciprocity agreement with the Pennsylvania System of Higher Education universities, “the choice was easy,” Krupp said.
Krupp, who serves as the prothonotary for Dauphin County and as an attorney for DeSantis Krupp LLC, stayed busy on campus during his time at WLC, but credits “the Law and Government Institute and the internships I was able to secure through my connections to the program had the greatest impact on my career.” He also found the Bar prep courses at WLC beneficial, ensuring he had all of the underlying fundamentals courses and tools needed to pass and become an attorney.
Krupp gives credit to the strength of the Widener Law Commonwealth alumni network, which positively impacts his legal career to this day. “Throughout the course of my professional and political career, I have been supported by the friends I made at Widener Law Commonwealth every step of the way.”
