OVERVIEW
The Eighth Annual EMS Law and Policy Symposium at Widener Law Commonwealth is focused on clinical, operational and technological innovation in EMS systems, and the law that supports and regulates this innovation. This year’s symposium will examine diverse topics including AI in EMS, the ethics and governance of AI integration into EMS workflows and clinical decision-making, the integration of innovation into legal standards of care in EMS, national EMS workforce innovations, EMS innovations in the Federal RHTP initiative, and innovation in the management of patients in custody.
This program is offered live at Widener Law Commonwealth and will be offered online via Zoom. Participants are entitled to up to 4.5 substantive and one (1) ethics Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits for attending the program – subject to approval.
