Widener Law Commonwealth has again been recognized by preLaw Magazine for their environmental law programs.
The law school was named to the magazine’s list of Top Schools for Environmental Law. Widener Law Commonwealth received an A- grade. preLaw Magazine is a leading source of information about issues in legal education and is a publication of National Jurist.The grades were based on the curriculum each school offered in the area of environmental law.
Widener Law Commonwealth’s campus is home to the Environmental Law and Sustainability Center. The Center helps students engage in environmental law and creates opportunities to engage them in the complex and critical problems that face our society today in the areas of the environment and sustainability.
“It is an honor to be named to this list again for such a great distinction,” said Prof. John Dernbach, director of the Environmental Law and Sustainability Center and commonwealth professor of environmental law. “Our goal is to have our students and their efforts make a significant impact in sustainability and environmental law. I think that we have done just that and I am proud of the progress we have made at the law school.”
