Widener University Commonwealth Law School is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Excellence in Public Service Award. This prestigious honor recognizes an alumnus or alumna who has demonstrated outstanding dedication and impact in public service.
Since its founding, Widener Law Commonwealth has been committed to fostering and celebrating contributions to government law. This year, as we mark the 25th anniversary of the Law and Government Institute, the Excellence in Public Service Award highlights the significant achievements of our alumni in the public sector. In 2016, Widener Law Commonwealth was recognized as one of the top law schools for public service, reflecting our long-standing commitment to this important field.
To be eligible, nominees must be graduates of Widener Law Commonwealth’s class of 2019 or earlier. The selection committee, comprised of the law school dean, the director of the Law and Government Institute, and a member of the Board of Advisors, will evaluate nominations based on the nature and impact of the nominee’s contributions to public service.
Nominations are open to all and will be accepted until Sept. 15, 2024. This is an opportunity to honor a graduate who has made a meaningful difference in public service.
