Commonwealth Professor of Business Advising Christian A. Johnson speaks frequently on legal issues involving over-the-counter derivative reforms, capital markets and the financial crisis and has spoken and lectured at such institutions as the International Monetary Fund, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and the Latvian and Irish Central Banks. He has testified before the U.S. Congress on OTC derivative reforms and made presentations to the staffs at the Commodities Futures Trading Commission and the National Futures Association. Professor Johnson has coauthored five books and written over three dozen articles on the derivative and repo capital markets and central banks.
Associate Professor Michael J. Hussey was honored in 2010 as one of the Central Penn Business Journal 40 Under 40. He is also active in the United Way of the Capital Region and directs the Widener Law Commonwealth Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
