For those who want to carpool, meet at the "Park and Ride" parking lot on the Highway 114 exit on Interstate 81 at no later than 8:30.
Appalachian Trail Hike
The Environmental Law and Policy Society and the Environmental Law and Sustainability Center are cosponsoring a short hike on the Appalachian Trail. We will be meeting at the parking lot near the Appalachian Trail Museum at Pine Grove Furnace State Park. We will hike to the Pole Steeple overlook, which provides a very nice view. On that date, we should be at or near the time for peak fall foliage.
We will have lunch at Pine Grove Furnace General Store, which provides lunch, and is located close to the Museum. You may also bring your own lunch, if you like.
