Environmental Law Career Panel and Reception
It has been 50 years since the passage of major federal environmental laws. What started as a niche area of the law is now a richly diverse field comprised of lawyers working across all legal sectors such as: private law firms, in-house counsel, public interest groups, and state and federal government.
This event will feature panelists who will discuss their dynamic environmental law careers and describe how those interested in entering the field can best prepare themselves. It will also include a conversation about opportunities for law students to seek mentorship and externship opportunities in environmental law.
Speakers:
- Robyn Katzman Bowman, assistant counsel, Office of Chief Counsel, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection
- Molly Brown, Senior Attorney, Director, Legal Education Center of the Chesapeake Legal Alliance
- John Dixon '14, associate, Saul Ewing, LLP
This event is sponsored in part by the Chesapeake Legal Alliance.
