Identification Card Information

All community members, staff, faculty, and students are required to carry their identification cards at all times. In order to prevent trespassers from entering university grounds and facilities, all community members are required to display their identification cards upon request of a university official. All service personnel are required to display their identification cards on their outer garments at all times.

All ID photos are taken by Brian Fearnbaugh in Media Services. Once ID cards are ready for pick up, they are available at the circulation desk on the first floor of the Law Library, Harrisburg Campus.

New Law Students

You will have an opportunity to get your ID card picture taken during orientation week. Your photo will be taken by Media Services on the second floor of the Widener Law Commonwealth Library.

Returning Law Students

Students who need replacement ID cards go to the Registrar’s Office to pay for the replacement. The Registrar’s Office will provide a receipt for you to give Media Services. Any student who is unable to have a photo taken during hours of operation can set up an appointment by calling the ID Card Office, 717-541-3963.

*There is a $25.00 fee for ID cards that need to be replaced.
