The Judge Richard P. Conaboy Memorial Symposium on the evolving role of the United States Sentencing Commission, a two-credit Continuing Legal Education program, features keynote speaker Rachel E. Barkow, Vice Dean and Professor at New York University Law School. She’ll speak on “The Evolving Role of the U.S. Sentencing Commission.”
Two free Pennsylvania substantive CLE or CJE credits are available. This CLE is open to the public and free of charge, but registration is required via our Eventbrite Listing.
Professor Michael R. Dimino will moderate a panel on “Confronting the Enigma of Just Sentencing,” featuring distinguished panelists Judge Christopher C. Conner, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania; David J. Freed, United States Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania; Heidi Freese, Federal Public Defender, Middle District of Pennsylvania; and Drew F. Thompson ’08, Chief U.S. Probation Officer, Middle District of Pennsylvania.
William P. Conaboy, Esq., will speak about the life and legacy of his father, the late Judge Richard P. Conaboy.
