Student Employment

The Federal Work-Study Program (FWSP) funds the part-time work on-campus or off-campus of students with financial need. Student off-campus employers must be private nonprofit organizations or public agencies. Students may work up to 20 hours per week during regular school periods and up to 40 hours per week during designated breaks. Please note that the amount of money earned cannot exceed the total amount of the student’s total award as part of the Federal Work-Study Program. Contact the Financial Aid Office with questions.

The Financial Aid Office handles all student employment paperwork for both work-study and non-work-study positions. See the Financial Aid Office sites.widener.edu page for necessary forms and work-study downloads.
