Any student who wishes to type his or her exam must provide a laptop computer and power cord. For additional information, please contact the Registrar’s Office at 717.541.3904.
ExamSoft is a company that supplies software called SofTest that permits students to take final examinations using their own laptops. SofTest blocks access to your hard drive and all other applications while you are taking your examination. If you choose to use SofTest, you must provide your own laptop and power cord (the laptop battery is not enough). We print completed examinations and deliver them to your professors.
Download the ExamSoft software at the Widener Law ExamSoft® page.
Because the majority of our students use ExamSoft, you will be automatically registered to use it. There is a cost each academic year.
If you do not wish to use ExamSoft and would rather write your exam, you can have the amount credited to your account by filling out our ExamSoft® Opt-Out Online form.
