Office of Open Records Overview: Big Picture and Brass Tacks
Please join us for a CLE presented by the Office of Open Records.
Erik Arneson, Executive Director of the Office of Open Records (OOR), will provide an overview of the OOR and trends observed since he began his tenure as executive director, including types of cases and processes adopted, and hot topics coming before OOR, e.g., the public nature of dash and body cams.
Charles R. Brown, OOR Chief Counsel, will address the day-to-day operations, how appeals officers handle appeals, and particularly how the OOR handles the hearing process, including practices OOR appeals officers follow.
Lunch will be provided.
Cost: $15 for attorneys, $10 for students
1 CLE credit (substantive) is available.
